The City of Del Rio will be conducting an Entry Level Police Officer Examination on Friday July 31, 2026. The examination will be held at the Del Rio Civic Center at 9am with the Physical Agility Portion being held after at 1pm. The deadline to apply for this position is Monday July 27, 2026 at 4pm. Regardless of the assignment, you will work in an environment that fosters leadership, teamwork, and service to the community.

No prior law enforcement experience is required. Upon employment, you will attend the Del Rio Training Police Academy for 22 weeks and obtain your peace officer’s license. You will receive specialized training from some of the finest officers in law enforcement.
